School: student and family portal
The Study portal is a page for the family: schedule, attendance and grades, homework, balance and invoices, joining an online lesson. Parents do not need to sign up — the portal opens by a link issued by the school. An adult student who pays for themselves is a “family” of one.
How to issue a link#
School → Students → the family card → “Portal” block → “Portal link”.
- The link is shown once — copy it and send it to the family by messenger or email. The server stores only its fingerprint, so it cannot be shown again; you can issue a new one.
- Its lifetime is a school setting (default 30 days). A family can have up to 10 active links (for example, one for each parent).
- Revoke one link or all of them in the same block. A revoked link stops working immediately.
- If the enrolment email is on, it already contains an “Open the student portal” button.
The portal can be turned off for the whole school with the “Family portal” setting: links are no longer issued, and open ones answer “portal is off”.
What the family sees#
- The family balance and debt.
- The family’s students — groups, format (in class, online), enrolment status, remaining pack lessons, freezes.
- Lessons for the next 14 days — topic, homework and, for online lessons, a “Join the lesson” button.
- The month’s register — attendance, grades, topic, homework and lesson materials.
- Homework — a “Hand in work” button: an answer as text and files (up to 5 files, up to 50 MB each), then the status “in review”, “needs rework” or “reviewed” with the teacher’s grade and comment. Late work can still be handed in — it is marked “late”.
- Invoices — with the amount due and a “Pay” button that opens the payment page of the location’s provider. Without a connected provider there is no online payment — pay at the school.
“Join the lesson”#
The button appears 15 minutes before an online lesson (a school setting) and works until the lesson ends. Only a student of that lesson who is not frozen sees it. If the school uses the “online only without debt” rule, the button is hidden when the debt exceeds the limit and the portal shows the amount due. Details: Online lessons.
Linking to an account#
The link page has “Link to my account”: sign in with the brand’s customer account and the portal then opens from the Study section of that account, without the link. One account shows every school and family it is linked to; unlinking is in the same place. Up to 10 accounts can be linked to a family.
A matching email between the account and the payer does not open the portal — only the school’s link does. This way a stranger with a similar email cannot see a child’s data.
Emails to the family#
The school emails the payer on events — each is turned on separately in the school settings:

Emails are in the location’s language and carry the school’s name; they contain no student names. What was sent and what was skipped (no address, the event is out of date) is in the email log of the family card.
What the family does not see#
- other students of the group and their marks;
- staff comments on marks and notes on invoices;
- individual account postings (only the balance and invoices);
- teachers and reasons for cancellations;
- student names: they are kept in the protected vault, and the portal labels a student as
#K7Q2. The family can set its own name for the label on its own device — it is not sent to the server.
The portal page is not indexed by search engines, and the link is removed from the address bar right away.

FAQ#
Do parents need to sign up? No. The link is enough; linking to an account is optional, so you do not have to keep the link.
Can I give a link to a grandparent? Yes, issue another link — each has its own lifetime and can be revoked separately.
Does the child see the family’s money? There is one portal per family: whoever opens the link sees the balance too. If that is not wanted, send the link only to the payer.
