📺 Digital Signage

Menu and promo slideshow on any TV screen

Documentation

Promo Screen

Promo Screen is digital signage for your venue: a slideshow with dishes, promotions, and menus runs on any TV or tablet right in the browser. You edit the content in the admin panel, and the changes appear on the screen automatically — no restart is needed.

Open: Admin Panel → Marketing → Promo Screen.

Slide Types

Each monitor is a playlist of slides. Three types are available:

Type What it shows
Dish Large photo, name, price, description, and badges (new, bestseller, etc.)
Promo Custom title and text over your image or background
Menu board List of dishes with prices in a cafe-menu style

“Dish” slides take photos and data directly from your menu — no need to upload them again.

Creating a Monitor and Playlist

  1. In the Promo Monitor section, select a location — the list of monitors for this location will open.
  2. Click "Add Monitor" and give it a name (for example, "Dining area" or "Showcase").
  3. The "Open Editor" button will open the fullscreen editor.
  4. In the left column, manage slides: add, delete, and reorder them by dragging.
  5. The central column is the live preview: what you see here is exactly what will be shown on the TV.
  6. The right column is the inspector of the selected slide: fill in the text, select a dish, upload an image or video for the promo.

Changes are saved automatically as you edit.

Displaying on a TV or Tablet

Each monitor has a unique public address like:

https://{your-domain}/?signage={id}

The "Copy Link" button in the editor (or on the monitor list page) will copy this address to the clipboard. A QR code is also available for easy scanning.

How to start the display:

  1. Open a browser on your TV, tablet, or any device with a screen.
  2. Go to the copied link.
  3. Click "Fullscreen" (the F11 key in most browsers) — the slideshow will start and run in a loop.

No need to install a special app — just a browser.

Offline Operation and Auto-Update

  • After the initial load, the monitor works offline: slides, images, and videos are cached in the browser.
  • Once the connection is restored, the screen automatically applies changes in the playlist — there is no need to update manually. The update delay is a few minutes.

Monitor Settings

The button in the editor opens the monitor settings:

  • Slide duration — how many seconds each slide is displayed by default. You can set a different duration for an individual slide in its inspector.
  • Aspect ratio — 16:9 for horizontal TV, 9:16 for vertical screen/stand, 4:3 and other options.
  • Image fitting — "Fill" (crops to the screen edges) or "Fit" (shows the entire image with margins).
  • Style — ready-made design presets (Classic, Luxe, Neon, Bold, and others). Accent color and header font are configured separately.

Multiple monitors for one location

You can create multiple monitors with different playlists for a single location — for example, one for the main dining area, another for the bar counter. Each monitor gets its own link.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is special equipment or a media player required?

No. Any Smart TV with a browser, tablet, laptop, or regular computer with a monitor will work. Just open the link in the browser and switch to full-screen mode.

What happens if the internet in the dining area goes down?

The monitor will continue to loop slides from the cache — guests won't notice anything. As soon as the connection is restored, the content will update in the background.

Can videos be shown in slides?

Yes. In a promo slide, you can upload a video (MP4 and other popular formats) instead of an image. The video plays silently on a loop.

How often is the content on the screen updated after saving?

The update takes a few minutes — the monitor automatically checks for a new version in the background. You can force an update by reloading the page on the device.

Does the number of monitors affect the pricing plan?

The promotional monitor itself is not billed separately — it is included in the standard access to the admin panel. Please check the current terms in the Subscription section.
