Yandex Ads — Advertising Without an Agency

The Yandex Ads section is a simple wizard for launching ads in Yandex.Direct. It's built for an everyday venue owner: no need to understand bids, negative keywords or ad-account settings — you answer a few plain questions and the system configures the rest.

Open: Admin Panel → 📣 Advertising → Yandex Ads (admin.meni.ge/yandex-ads).

Where the section is available. The "Yandex Ads" card is unlocked by a plan with marketing tools (advertising and SEO) and is shown only to accounts whose locations are in one of these countries: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey. It is a closed list — outside it the card does not appear in the App Store.

Connecting#

Click "Sign in with Yandex ID" and grant access to Yandex.Direct — you authorize once. The connection is made for the selected location.

The 5-step wizard#

Step 1. Goal#

Choose what you want from the ad:

More orders from the menu — the ad leads people straight to your menu so they can order.
More people nearby learn about you — show your restaurant to people who live and work close by.

Step 2. Where to show it#

The ad is shown to people near your venue's address. Set a radius around the restaurant — people within that distance will see it. If no address is set in the location settings, the ad temporarily shows across your whole city.

Step 3. Budget#

Set how much to spend per day. You can change it any time or stop the ad completely. Pick a duration: run indefinitely or limit by a number of days. Spend is charged to your Yandex.Direct account balance, not your Meni balance.

Step 4. The ad#

The system prepares the ad text from your menu — a headline and body. Edit anything by hand, or click "Generate again" for another variant. A preview is shown alongside.

Step 5. Review & launch#

The final screen brings it all together: goal, radius, budget, duration and where the ad leads. Click "Launch" — the campaign goes to Yandex moderation.

After launch the ad is reviewed for a while, then starts running.

Campaign dashboard#

The dashboard shows all your campaigns with clear statuses: in moderation, ready, active, paused, rejected (with a reason) or archived. For each you see:

spend today and over the last 7 days;
impressions and clicks, with a plain-language hint ("out of every 100 impressions, N people clicked through");
actions: pause / resume / edit budget / archive.

FAQ#

Do I need to understand Yandex.Direct settings?#

No. The wizard asks plain questions and configures the campaign for you. Advanced parameters are intentionally hidden to keep things simple.

Who pays for impressions?#

Spend is charged to your Yandex.Direct account balance. Meni does not charge for impressions.

Can I change the budget after launch?#

Yes, the daily budget can be changed right in the campaign dashboard at any time, where you can also pause the campaign.

Where does the ad text come from?#

An AI prepares it from your menu. You can edit the text or regenerate it.
