Floor Plan

Floor Plan is a visual map of your venue in the admin panel: halls, tables, walls and zones. Tables get QR codes and waiters assigned to them, guests book tables, and orders and reservations show up right on the map.

Open: Admin panel → Floor Plan.

Section settings sit under the gear icon in the window header: Booking deposits (opens the reservation list and expands the deposit rules), Booking widget, Staff and Client codes.

Plan editor

1. Create halls — main hall, terrace, VIP. Each hall has its own dimensions (width/depth).
2. Add elements from the palette:
   • Tables — round, square, long; each with a label, seat count, shape and rotation;
   • Structure — walls, doors, windows, stairs, elevators;
   • Zones — bar, kitchen, WC, entrance, plants, text labels;
   • For hotels — rooms and beds (room service).
3. Select an element to edit its properties, duplicate or delete it.

The plan is saved per location — every location has its own map.

Binding QR codes to tables

Each table links to a QR code from Client codes. Select a table on the map — the "QR code" block offers three ways:

1. Create QR & link — the shortest one: the code is created automatically, named after the element ("Table 5", "Room 101"), and linked right away.
2. Scan QR — if the code is already printed and sits on the table, point your camera at it. Scanning the same code at another table moves the binding — handy when rearranging the room.
3. Select from list — link one of the codes already created for this location (searchable by name).

Done — orders from that QR code show on that table. A linked code can be previewed, its link copied, or saved with Download QR (SVG).

After binding: a guest scans the QR → orders → the order is visible on the floor plan at the right table, in the POS and in the kitchen.

Hall monitor: putting the plan on a TV

The 📺 Hall monitor button in the editor header opens the selected hall as a full-screen map in a new tab — for a TV near the entrance, a host's tablet or a second monitor. There is no sidebar and no panels: the screen shows one thing, the whole room at once.

Tables carry live badges: the total of open orders and a timer since seating. For a hotel it is the guest name, the number of nights and the folio balance instead. Tap an element and a details panel opens on the right; Esc closes it.

Data refreshes on its own: orders arrive over a websocket and are additionally polled every 30 seconds, hotel rooms and folios once a minute. The screen stays awake (a wake lock is requested), the scale is controlled by the zoom buttons and "Fit", and there is a separate full-screen button. The monitor is read-only: you cannot change an order or a room status from it.

Waiters mode

In the Waiters mode you assign tables to specific employees: pick a waiter and mark their tables. Orders from those tables are automatically bound to the waiter — visible in the order card and staff reports. Add waiters on the Staff page.

Table reservations

Reservations work from both sides:

For guests — the QR menu and the venue website show a booking button: the guest picks a date, time, party size and leaves a contact. After submitting they can see their reservation status.

For the venue — reservations open from the Floor Plan page with the 📅 Reservations button (it also carries a counter of pending requests): a separate window with the request list and table assignment. The manager confirms or declines a booking, and can create one manually (e.g. after a phone call).

The same window holds the 💳 Deposit button, where you set the booking deposit rules: which weekdays, hours and party sizes require it and how much. A paid deposit can be waived — for example, when the guest warned you about the cancellation. Details are in Table reservations.

Waitlist and heat map live in the Hall panel

This section is the editor of the plan: here you draw halls and tables and bind QR codes. Working on top of that plan during a shift lives in the Hall panel, opened from the till:

• the waitlist (the queue of guests with no free table, invitations by phone call or Telegram, a suggestion of who to seat at a freed table);
• the hall heat map — revenue and average check per table for today;
• the "Now" tab with occupancy, upcoming reservations and waiter calls.

None of these tools exist on the "Floor plan" page — don't look for them here.

FAQ

How many halls can I create?

Unlimited — main hall, terrace, banquet room, second floor. At least one hall must remain.

What if a table was moved or its QR re-glued?

Just re-scan the QR at the right table — the binding moves automatically.

Does the floor plan work for hotels?

Yes: add rooms and beds instead of tables. A QR code in a room binds just like a table QR — you get a room service setup.

Can a guest book a table without calling?

Yes, right from the QR menu or the venue website. The request instantly appears in the admin panel and the guest sees the confirmation.
